We came to Colorado in 2005 after moving from North Dakota. We found a little ranch about 35 miles east of Colorado Springs, Colorado in the little town of Yoder.

We have been married for 16 years and have two beautiful boys Dylon (5) and Devon (2). We waited for what seemed to be eternity for our first son, and finally we were blessed.

We entered the alpaca ranching industry in the spring of 2007. We researched the industry for approximately six months before we bought our first alpaca. Now our ranch is up to 22 alpaca (including three from Rinali Plains Alpacas), three llamas and one Great Pyrenees guard dog.

We see the alpaca industry as a growing industry in its infancy. Even though alpacas have been in the United States for awhile, we see many opportunities within the alpaca industry. We envision alpacas becoming a livestock everyone who is serious about the industry can afford.
